Face It! : Facebook Security Workshop!
Facebook being an awesome social networking site , the largest of its kind , is already the worlds second most popular website. That is the reason why even we , the Technology Bay wants to keep our Facebook communities the most active! However since the past few years Facebook is blamed for it's weak security.I can't and I won't blame Facebook for this because maintaining such a huge amount of accounts and traffic is a herculean job!Assuring security for each account by periodical security scans is nearly impossible! So it is we the users who have to take the prime initiative to protect ourselves online!
The cardinal sin of an online user is be less alert and aware on Internet! The first step to protect yourself is the awareness on how all you can be hacked and how you can counter them!We the Technology Bay understands the urgent need for an awareness campaign on cyber threats and that's why we are launching this event!
The Workshop starts on 18th February and continues for a week which covers topics like : ways to hack Facebook and how to counter them,Facebook applications and security threats, spam protection, detection of fake profiles etc.We except our readers to actively participate in this event as you did in the past two workshops and hope that this event will be useful for you!We are waiting for your valuable comments and criticisms!
Believe me! Your Facebook account is 99.99999% safe (rest 0.00001% no one can claim :-)). In almost all the Facebook hacking instances it is the users ignorance that was exploited! For people who wants a method as easy as making a cup of tea for hacking Facebook, my advice is to stop surfing online for it!Because such a thing doesn't exist! There are almost zero public exploits for Facebook hacking , thanks to Zuckerbergs army! Moreover there are many fake soft wares and websites claiming to hack Facebook for money!!So wish all a great weekend!
