Hello Friends,
I usually blog whenever I see people facing problems and when they are unable to find any solution.
I saw a person asking for a solution over this issue and firstly he was told to repair his OS and later when this didn't worked he was told to format. So here I'm, to solve this issue without formatting the partition.
This is not my solution its been taken from various sources.
You receive a "Generic Host Process" error message after you start the computer, or DBCS attachment file names are not displayed in Rich Text e-mail messages.
First of all let me tell you that this problem exists only on XP Service Pack-2.

Boot.ini is a critical system file which contains configuration options for a boot menu.It is a plain text file that is kept
in the system root, so it is usually
C:\boot.ini and it's attributes are set to
hidden,
system, read-only to protect it.During the boot up,
functions from the Windows XP file named "Ntldr" are in charge
of getting the proper operating system loaded and boot.ini helps it in locating the OS.System with dual boot cannot work without boot.ini.Often people are forced to format their hard drives when they find boot.ini missing. But why panic when you have an easy way??

This is one of the most common questions asked in forums and posted by bloggers. Many of the so called tech-geeks boast about using USB stick as RAM and ask readers to try this to increase system RAM.Lemme say one thing ,they have tons of mud inside their heads!!!See the point is,anyone with some basic knowledge regarding computers know the difference between a RAM and USB drive.Just think man, if at all it was possible to increase RAM memory efficiently by a flash drive ,then manufactures would have done that, because an USB drive is lot cheaper than a RAM!

Most people think that every "
autorun.inf" is a virus,It's not!!An
autorun.inf file is a text file that can be used by the AutoRun and AutoPlay components of Microsoft Windows Operating systems.AutoRun enables application CD-ROMs to automatically launch a program which could then guide the user through the installation process. By placing settings in an
autorun.inf
file, manufacturers could decide what actions were taken when their
CD-ROM was inserted. The simplest
autorun.inf files have just two
settings: one specifying an icon to represent the CD in Windows Explorer (or "My Computer") and one specifying which application to run.

I agree that all people cannot afford the luxury of an unlimited Broadband account. That's why people often prefer limited plans. But the real misery lies in wasting time by logging into data usage checking site and checking it.I had personally suffered this lot once. But actually i was very late to learn about the existence of ShaPlus Bandwidth Meter.

Did you think this was ever possible? But indeed there was a poor man's trick to accomplish the task.Inside bios there is 3V battery called CMOS battery which acts as a 24 x 7 power supply for the BIOS and acts as an initiator of the booting process. If i guessed it right the system clock might also be depending on it!Don't think what sort of guy I'm ;i know i started with password cracking and talking about BIOS battery, but it was purposeful.

What do you feel when you thrash your disc containing favorite songs, pics, files, games or videos into dust bin! Read forward to know if you could do something to recover them :D
Anatomy of scratches
Scratches that are perpendicular (going from the center outwards) are generally less damaging than the scratches that go along the spiral. So if your CD/DVD has more of
the latter ones, then the chances of recovering data from that CD or DVD
may be less. But don't forget to give it a try :-)

This process is actually called '
HOT REBOOT' where without physically restarting, a computer system can be rebooted. When you click on the
SHUTDOWN button, make sure to simultaneously press
SHIFT Button.
If you hold the Shift key down while clicking on
SHUTDOWN button, your computer would restart without restarting the computer.
