World’s Stupidest Hack ever identified (100% useless)
You might have thought what is the use of this post? Nothing friend…this post talks of a funny hack found in windows XP. If you have no time for fun, feel free to skip this article.
Do you know that you can make an undeletable folder in windows? Never mind, but I expect you to know that you cannot create a folder with any of these names [CON, PRN, AUX, NUL, COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4, COM5, COM6, COM7, COM8, COM9, LPT1, LPT2, LPT3, LPT4, LPT5, LPT6, LPT7, LPT8, and LPT9] in windows (please verify).If you could make a folder with any of above names then you could really make an undeletable folder in windows…
But...how?
1. Open cmd
2. Type “md \name\\” (without quotes), where name is any of above stated illegal names.for eg md \AUX\\.
Now try copying or moving this folder or try copying anything to this folder…..then you will understand why I describe this hack as 100% useless!!!
3. Finally to remove this trouble, Type “rd \name\\” (without quotes) in cmd , where name is any of above stated illegal names.
One more thing…this will not work for any other folder name!!!
