Have you ever dropped USB Flash Drive in water ?It happens,sometimes we keep it in our shirt pocket and later just stuff it into the washing machine.What will you do when you find your USB drive wet???


First thought on finding a wet USB will be to test it or plug it into the PC to check if it's working.Please don't do it!It'll fry it!! Most of the electronic circuit boards inside a flash drive are water resistant. But you should not use when it is wet.If you use it in wet condition the internal circuit gets damaged due to short circuit and such a pen drive can't be repaired.

All you have to do is to just dry in room conditions(in sun not recommended).Don't use it for at least 2-3 days.Make sure that the drive is completely dry(especially inside of drive) before use.
