Download Coral Player : big cheap scam ; security alert for torrent downloaders

Last Friday I was downloading Kung fu Panda 2 from a torrent site.After I finished download I played it in GOM player.But it was displaying a message similar to this.

At the first sight the message doesn't seem appealing. First thought was to download the player from coral player site. Then i decided to visit the site via Google(my usual way of visiting suspicious sites).The several results out there told me that it was a scam.With low downloading speed, people wait for hours or nights to download their favorite movies but if that movie is just a 2 minute trailer then it is definitely frustrating. That's y i decided to post this.

OK ,lets visit coralplayer.com before visiting download.coralplayer.You get a message like "This is not a correct entrance URL, please watch the file again and see what the correct URL is like.". That itself proves it's a scam. No legitimate software site will have such a message.

On visiting download.coralplayer.com you'll see a cool page that asks you to pay just 95 cents to download it.But believe me it's a trap.Actually for that 95 cents you are downloading a 3 day trail of a sucking media player.From then on it charges 20-30$ per month and you'll lose your great deal of money.

Now about the file that I downloaded , it was a fake torrent .When i opened the file in mediainfo it showed the duration of the file as 13s (How can a movie be of 13 s and how can coral player play it for 2-3 hrs!!!!!!).So my advice to readers is , when you are downloading big video files like movies pause after you download first 20 Mb and then open the file in mediainfo and see it's duration.It'll even better if you open it in a player and see the first few seconds. Remember all files asking you a coral player download are superb fakes.Have a nice day and keep yourself away from scams.
