Google URL Shortener at goo.gl is a smart product which could be used to shorten URLs.Despite the latest abuse of this feature by some malware , this service continues to be a very useful service.You could use it to shorten large URLs and use it for Tweeting, Facebooking and all the rest of it.
URL shortening is a technique on the World Wide Web in which a Uniform Resource Locator (URL) may be made substantially shorter in length and still direct to the required page. This is achieved by using an HTTP Redirect on a domain name that is short, which links to the web page that has a long URL.
The question is why Goog.gl?There exists tons of other URL Shortener services doing almost the same.But Goog.gl has a great advantage of not being blacklisted on many sites due to security reasons.The image file added here proves this fact.
