Fixing xvideocore.dll error

Hey everyone...
Summer might have arrived at your place but weather is still cold here...
Sometimes it bit hot in noon time but all the time its chilling here.
Sorry I couldn't blog for many days or I guess its been month...
Actually i couldn't find anything suitable to blog. But finally I did found....
Some guy was asking about xvideocore.dll error and I was about to comment but I thought lets make a blog and then comment. :D

xvideocore.dll error is showing up in your system. okk not a big deal coz it can show up in any system. There could be one of the many reasons Why this error is showing up?

First I will be discussing the error messages that show up & then later on I will be telling you How to fix these errors. If you are not interested in getting knowledge or you are not a computer freak then you may jump to skip this next topic and go to direct solution.

Here are some of the messages/pop-ups you might get:

"xvideocore.dll not found"

"The file xvidcore.dll is missing."

"This application failed to start because xvidcore.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

"Cannot start [APPLICATION]. A required component is missing: xvidcore.dll. Please install [APPLICATION] again."

These pop-ups can be faced when you are installing windows, trying to run some program, after booting or playing videos.

The most commonly found error is due to missing, deletion or corrption of xviideocore.dll file.
In some rare cases, this error may indicate registry problem, virus or malware problem and at your worst luck it could be harware failure.

Before I start telling you about its solution, I would like you to read note.

NOTE:

Start your Windows in SAFE MODE. Its not necessary but you can coz its SAFE. :P

You can download any dll file from DLL Download website. But if you know which dll error is this then I recommend you to download it from its original source. Yeah before doing any stuff please do update you Windows coz sometimes dll error gets solved in updates.

Now lets see How can we solve this problem?

Check your Recycle Bin, you might have deleted it by mistake. If you are sure that you have deleted it and its not in recycle bin also then run some file recovery software and try recovering it. You can also use System restore but it might create problem to recently installed softwares.
Run some good & updated anti-virus scan. I recommend this in all cases.
Run Registry Cleaner softwares, they might repair your dll files.
You can download xvideo.dll from its original website i.e. xvid.org.
If the problem still persist then my friend you are at your worst luck,
Its hardware failure. But before heading to technician you can give a last try by installing a fresh copy of Windows.

All dll errors can be solved in same way. Please do comment & correct me if I'm wrong.
