How to Download the Complete Backup of Facebook Profile/Facebook account

One of the best changes in Facebook this year is it's built-in profile backup facility.The whole load of personal data can be downloaded as a single .zip file.Moreover the information is stored in HTML format. This option is especially useful when you are desperately in need of some data you once shared in Facebook and you don't have a copy of it now !One thing I wanna hint before we proceed is that the backup contains sensitive information. You should keep it secure and take precautions when storing, sending or uploading it to any other services.

How to create a backup..?

Click the account menu at the top right of Facebook home page and click Account Settings.
Click on "Download a copy" of your Facebook data.
A request dialog box will appear asking you to confirm the act.It takes some time for the Facebook to gather all details and they will let you know when they have gathered all your information.

What all will the archive contain..?

When you download your information the archive file will include:

Your profile (timeline) information (ex: your contact information, interests, groups)
Wall (timeline) posts and content that you and your friends have posted to your profile (timeline)
Photos and videos that you have uploaded to your account
Your friend list
Notes you have created
Events to which you have RSVP’d
Your sent and received messages
Any comments that you and your friends have made on your Wall (timeline) posts, photos, and other profile (timeline) content.

Note: You'll require to verify the account via email.First Facebook will send an email to the email address that's listed on your Facebook account to ensure that it is indeed you who initiated the process. Once you receive the email, you will have to re-enter your password. If you are using a public computer, you may also have to solve a friend photo captcha or an SMS captcha via your mobile phone.
